mewgaroo hoodie

With the approach of winter, we find our cats wanting to sit on our laps more and more. Although flattered, sometimes, we are immbolised as a result. Occasionally, we even forgo going to the bathroom because we don’t want to disturb our lap cats.

Well the folks at Unihabitat have solved this common problem by producing the ultimate hoodie for pet owners so they can carry their furkids as they go about their day. The Mewgaroo hoodie is a sweatshirt with a pouch purrfect for your cat (or small dog) to curl up in. When the oversized pocket gets too hairy, you can simply take out the lining and give it a good clean.

The Mewgaroo also features pockets for your hands as well as pom pom drawstrings to entertain your furry guest.

The medium size hoodie comes with cat ears while the large size does not, so it’s perfect for dog parents. Both sizes include paw-like sleeves.

Currently, it is only available to the Japanese market, but we hope its increase in popularity will see a world wide release very soon.

important psa about buns

We raised rabbits when I was a child and my sister gave a rabbit a bath (she was 5) and it died..so heed this instruction.

I wasn’t going to reblog this, but then I realized I might save a rabbit.

This is important guys. If your rabbit gets into something gnarly and you HAVE to bathe them:
1. Fill a bowl with warm water.
2. Get a washcloth. Put it in the water. Squeeze it out until it is just damp.
3. Lightly scrub the dirty area on your bun.
4. That is it. DO NOT get your bun wet. Only slightly damp on the part that was dirty.

CC, for “CopyCat” or “Carbon Copy" (born December 22, 2001), is a brown tabby and white domestic shorthair and the first cloned pet. CC’s surrogate mother was a tabby, but her genetic donor, Rainbow, was a calico domestic shorthair. The difference in hair coloration between CC and Rainbow is due to epigenetic re-programming.

In September 2006, CC gave birth to four kittens, two males named Tim and Zip and one female named Tess who were fathered naturally. One of the kittens, a female, was stillborn. This is the first time a cloned pet has given birth. CC appears to be free of the cloning-related health problems that have arisen in some other animal clones. “CC has always been a perfectly normal cat and her kittens are just that way, too,” says Kraemer. “We’ve been monitoring their health and all of them are fine, just like CC has been for the past five years.”
